FIESTA Family Night!!

The Cotters are in town for a couple of weeks from Mesa. Here is a small snapshot of what we have been up to in just the first week. Ella (2.5 years old) announced today that she wanted to go to Mexico. That was not quite feasible, so we brought Mexico here. Grandpa S brought fake airline tickets to Mexico for the grand kids and we had tacos and broke open a pinata. It was pretty much the most awesome family night ever!

Excellent pinata prizes!Family Christmas card this year!?!

On Saturday we rode the Front Runner from SLC to O town. We were quite the crew with Grandpa S, Aunt Dell, Erin, Lucas, Rebecca, Tyler, Lyndsay, Cameron, Ella, Charlie, Lincoln and myself. The kids were SO excited to ride the train! The only thing it is missing is a McDonald's.

We visited the train museum in Ogden, went to lunch, and then headed back to Salt Lake.
We also visited the Zoo last week. Are you surprised that we can still walk after all of this!?! This is Grandma S and Ella on the elephant.
Lincoln, Me, and Jessie on the Zoo Carousel. I was laughing so hard because Lincoln kept saying "weeee" every time his polar bear would go up and down.

I am sure there will be more pics to come of "Adventures when the Cotters come to town". Love you guys!

Demolition Derby!

Spongebob Square Pants. Hilarious. He maybe lasted 15 seconds.

Kylee's shirt says, "I only date Republicans." Ha ha!

Lincoln was so excited when the cars came out! When they started slamming into each other he started to cry, until we told him that it was cool. Then he would clap and shout. It was way funny. That night when we got home, he started ramming his Tow Mater sit-and-ride car and his Lego's wagon together and laughing hysterically. I am pretty sure he grasps the demo derby concept.

Memorial Day Weekend at Mud Lake

We spent last weekend playing at my parents cabin in Bear Lake. We had a ridiculous amount of fun. They have some pretty cool machines that they are nice enough to let us ride in the peanut butter mud.

On Sunday we drove to Star Valley to decorate graves for Memorial Day. It is so beautiful there. We hiked to Intermittent Springs (if you don't know what this is you should Google it.. it's super cool). Then we stopped by my Uncle's house in Afton. His entire house is filled with mounted trophy heads of animals that he has hunted and killed. He was even attacked by a bear in Alaska one time. He also has a garage full of motorcycles. The one below was Lincoln's favorite.

Bet you haven't seen a car seat in an ATV, right?

The kids got to go on a couple easy rides. It was hilarious!

Thanks Mom and Dad for such a great time! We love you!

Lincoln started walking on his own a week ago. Today he was walking around holding his basketball. He put it on the ground and started kicking it around all on his own. Do we have a soccer phenom on our hands? Check out his ball control! It's a definite possibility...

IRON GIRL TRIATHLON
Las Vegas baby!
Last weekend my Mom, sisters and sister-in-law, completed the triathlon we had been fervently training for. We had such a great time! We made it through the freezing waters of Lake Las Vegas and across the miles of asphalt! It was awesome! I would highly recommend getting out and doing one of these crazy events!
My AWESOME Mom!!
Me, my bike, and Tobi's head :)

The finish!!
A special thanks to everybody who came to support us... My Dad, the husbands, the kids, JoLynn, Lyndsay, and Grandma and Grandpa Blanch! We love you!!

Raised by wolves...
Lincoln is not walking yet because dogs do not walk.
He also prefers dog food. Bo, Lincoln and Tank. This is the pack. Bo is our friends dog, but still one of Lincoln's brothers. Lincoln says "dog" more than he says "mom". This is why.. the boy is raised by wolves.

The Happiest Place On Earth!

We just got back from Disneyland... they call it the happiest place because it truely is. We went with Bryan's family and our family friends, the Strattons. This picture is of Lincoln and "Uncle Mark". Disneyland is not Disneyland without the Strattons. We had the most amazing time and everyone was so helpful with Lincoln. We were able to ride tons of adult rides because of our gracious child watchers. Thanks guys!!

A Bug's Life

Grandpa and Link on Tom Sawyer's raft.

Lincoln liked to look at the characters from a far more than meeting them.
Uncle T, Link, and the Tower of Terror.

Pooh. Ironically this is right before Lincoln Pooh-ed on Uncle Mark. Gross. Sorry, thanks for being a good sport! Grandma, Link and Uncle T on the Autopia ride. So adorable!!

I would like to give a big fat THANK YOU to everyone for spoiling our son half to death!! This picture is a prime example... a Tow Mater balloon from Grandma Snel and a Tower of Terror shirt from Shirlene "Great Grandma Stratton". Everyone was so generous and we truely appreciate it!

Man's Best Friend
I took this picture with my phone today so the resolution is not great. If you look closely you can see Tank (trying to blend into the furniture) and Lincoln using him as a pillow. They sure missed each other while we were in Disneyland. We got back yesterday. It was a blast! Pictures soon to come. The camera is still packed.

Greatest Snow on Earth!!!
This is my back door neighbor's house during one of the HUGE winter storms that we had this winter. Used to be stucco, now it's snowcco. Ha.. that was a lame joke.

This is some form of "peek a boo"

Lincoln loves playing in the curtains (if you would call them curtains). They are from IKEA and I love them! They are on tracks so you can slide them around. They were my prize for loosing 20 lbs in the Fall. Growing a baby with the genes of a line backer required a lot of eating. It has taken a while to reverse the effects, but very worth it!

3 Million percent boy...
When Lincoln was born, we had seriously considered giving him the middle name of "Danger". We just had a feeling about him. Fortunately he has not seriously injured himself yet with his "throw caution to the wind" attitude. Stairs are a head first thing, the doggie door is a perfect fit, and there is not a dog that he wouldn't hand feed. So many things to look forward to!

I have found my calling in life!! I am supposed to be an AMERICAN GLADIATOR!! We love to watch old re-runs of AG at our house. You can only imagine how ecstatic we were when we found out that it is back! So excited, in fact, that I got my hair cut today to look like my favorite gladiator, CRUSH. I could totally kick her trash. Maybe I will even sew myself one of these stylin' outfits.... or not.

I got a Wii for my birthday last year. It is the coolest thing ever. I love to play Boogie, Bryan is a tennis pro, and Lincoln loves baseball. Here is a little taste of what playing Wii is like at our house....

I had previously promised a Halloween Pic of Lincoln's shark costume. You might be wondering who the amazing makeup artist is that created my shark bite?.... Well, I am sworn to secrecy. Sorry. Okay, it was me and I am fully aware that it is terrible. Looks more like someone passed me with a machine gun.

Lincoln digs coconuts. Watch out ladies.
